Do you want to know how to get on page one of google?

I can tell you absolutely how to get to page one on google and it wont cost you one penny. I can tell you absolutely how to master the search engines, how to manipulate your website so you get front page placing.

But before I do, lets talk about what page one of google really is.

Google delivers about 5 billion searches each day, so that means there are 5 billion page ones on google each day.

Now, which of those 5 billion pages do you want to be on?

If you sell leather purses do you want to be on a search for vegans dinner recipes?

If you sell vegan food do you want to be on page one for beef producers?

So what does it mean to be on page one?

Does it mean anything at all?

With most searches already established in databases, google already knows what people are searching for and they have a canned response ready, page 1 through whatever.....

So if you search for "Jewelry" google has the results already set up and ready to deliver. Certainly being on page one when someone searches for "Jewelry" is a good thing, but the chance of you getting in on that are pretty slim.

I don't care how much you spend or how many people you pay, unless you know what to do, change it every month and keep working it over and over, you wont get there.

So then how do you get to number one?

If you just build a regular website you will get to number one, at least for something.

The pageBuzz website stats show you a breakdown of how people find your website. It shows what people searched for and what page of the search engine those terms were on.

It is very common for websites to see page one ranking for many different terms.

And why is that?

Is it because you added meta tags? NO.

Is it because you bought an SEO submission scam? NO.

Is it because you posted links on craigslist? NO.

It is because you have the words that people are looking for in your page.

Now that means that every string of words or characters is a chance to be on page one. Every article you write, every sentence you form gives you one more chance to find users on page one of google.

If you are the only person with that information, you are guaranteed position number 1 on page 1 of google.

Lets say you make up a unique number, a stock number for an item, just for laughs lets use: GOOGLE86T524134928635TGDES as an example.

That does not mean much, but if you search google for "GOOGLE86T524134928635TGDES" you will get 0 results. No pages match that string.

(in time as this page gets indexed, when you search for the string you should find this page as #1)

So if someone is reading that stock number off of one of your product labels and searches for it, you are number 1.

Now, that is not useful if you are trying to find new customers, but it is useful if you want your customers to find your products. If you use a number like "1001" then people looking for that number will never find your pages.

So the way to get to number one on google is to have something that nobody else has.

Now I get people all the time that tell me they are number one on google. And I chuckle and say that is great, but page one for what?

In most cases they are number one for "thenameofmybusiness.com", which they should be, because that is what people are looking for when they search for them.

But are you #1 for product names, product descriptions or services.

Of course there are 5 billion different page ones, so it is not really a big deal to be on page one, in fact it is expected.

You really don't have to work hard at all to end up on many page ones, but you do need content. Unique content is always best and having unique names, place or strings will insure that you can be found on one of those page ones.

Now maybe you are not on page one for "Jewelry" or "Plumbing" but maybe you are on page one for "Sliver plated diamond rings" or "unclogging leaky toilets in Tampa".

The fact is, 15% of all the daily searches on google have never been searched before. That is 750 million searches a day.

So even with the billions of daily searches, even google does not know what people will search for, so trying to corner the market on keywords is pointless, because chances are people are not even searching for that.

We maintained a page that was #1 on google for "websites for sale" and that resulted in about 10 click throughs a day. The reason being, as great as that sounds, only a handful of people ever searched for that exact phrase.

People search for "professional jewelry website for sale" or "a website I can buy cheap".

So while you might type in a general word like "jewelry" it is not as common for google users to do the same.

By having an array of content it will actually serve you better than trying to master some keywords that you think will make you rich.

The fact is, it is very simple to get to page one of google. The question really is, which of those page ones is going to give you the exposure that you want? That you need?

Build your website for your customers, they will be the ones searching for all the crazy things and if you serve them, you will be on their page one.

If you keep trying to master google, you will never realize you are missing your market entirely.
